Dr. Danielle Harkness

I knew I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was in elementary school. Initially, I pursued training as a veterinary technician at Seneca College, graduating in 2010. My passion for veterinary medicine continued to grow while working as a technician. I continued my training in animal biology at the University of Guelph and later graduated from the Ontario Veterinary College in 2019. I have a special interest in nutrition and endocrine diseases.

During my spare time, I love to be outside enjoying the sunshine, whether it be on a hike or enjoying a good book. I have also recently started playing pool. I currently live in Smithville with my husband, our Leonberger named Klaus and our four friendly felines!
